BAHRAIN. To mark International Nurses Day on 12 May, Bahrain Duty Free partnered with Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) to salute the work of frontline medical staff from the airport team for their efforts to keep staff and passengers safe.
A statement from BAC and Bahrain Duty Free said: “To be able to walk alongside another person during their moments of vulnerability requires a special type of selflessness and strength.
“To all the frontline healthcare workers, thank you for your continuous dedication, selflessness and sacrifice in taking care of us all.”
International Nurses Day is a global celebration that acknowledges the commitment and bravery of nurses around the world. It is coordinated by the International Council of Nurses (ICN), which set the theme for the 2021 event as ‘nursing the world back to health’.
