BATI General Manager Christian Löwe |
British American Tobacco International (BATI) has appointed Christian Löwe as General Manager, succeeding Stefano Mariotti.
Löwe has spent 20 years within BAT Group, holding both brand and trade roles, and has worked across five countries during that period. He was most recently General Manager of BAT Sweden and Head of Trade Marketing and Distribution for BAT Germany.
He said: “Travel retail is an extremely valuable brand building opportunity for BAT and I am looking forward to working with our customers and retailers to continue to drive the innovation strategy of BATI in delivering outstanding products to our consumers.”
Löwe will move to BATI’s head office in Zug, Switzerland, this month. His predecessor, Mariotti, had been General Manager since 2011.
The company said: “BATI wishes Stefano all the best for the future.”
