Be Relax’s relaxation centre at Terminal 5B will offer passengers a wide range of beauty and massage treatments |
UK. Wellbeing specialist Be Relax is launching an 876sq ft relaxation centre in Heathrow Terminal 5’s satellite terminal, 5B, offering passengers a wide range of beauty treatments from massage and manicures to aroma and oxygen therapy.
Appointments can be made in advance or on a first-come, first-served basis and are available to all passengers. Prices start from £9.00 and sessions will last between ten and 60 minutes depending on the treatment, said the company.
Be Relax Managing Director Nicolas Briest said: “We are delighted to be launching Be Relax at Heathrow, one of the world’s busiest and best-connected international airports. Carried out by trained therapists, our express holiday services offer great value for money and will appeal as much to the tired business traveller as those looking for a way to relax and unwind before the journey ahead.”
Be Relax will sell a range of products for travel and home use including a head massager, soothing bath oil and his and her wellbeing destination kits.
The launch of Be Relax at Heathrow marks the French firm’s plans to establish itself in the UK. It currently has outlets in ten European airports and retails Be Relax branded products in stores worldwide.
BAA Heathrow Head of Fashion and Well-being Mark Jennings added: “Be Relax is the ideal stop-off for those who haven’t had time to prepare before their holiday or simply want to indulge in some pre-travel pampering. With a clear understanding of time constraints, the relaxation centre will deliver a service that works in harmony with passengers’ needs and meets our long-term commitment of making every journey better.”
