SWITZERLAND. Zürich Airport was the venue for an impressive example of the “˜Trinity’ at work recently, with the introduction of the Best of Switzerland promotion in the airport’s Airside Center. Several leading Swiss brands – including Bally, Victorinox, Lindt, Sprüngli, Navyboot and Caran d’Ache – were allocated concourse space in the heart of the retail zone, allowing them to engage directly with travellers and educate them about their brands. The initiative was made possible by close cooperation between landlord Zürich Airport, retailer The Nuance Group and the brands, which also included water-bottle brand Sigg and watchmaker Certina.
The impact of the promotion was hailed by Zürich Airport Head Marketing Retail & Services Patrick Graf, who said: “The Best of Switzerland “˜Trinity’ promotion has been very well perceived. Many strong, well-known Swiss brands have executed great promotions showing the high quality of the products and educating customers by explaining the history, heritage and philosophy of the brands.”
