USA. Bhavesh Patel, who was previously Director of Concessions at Tampa International, has been named as Chief Revenue Officer – Executive Vice President in charge of the Commercial, Concessions and Real Estate business unit at Denver Airport. He reports to CEO Kim Day.
Commercial and concessions departments are now two entities, Denver Airport clarified to The Moodie Report, with John Ackerman overseeing commercial and Neil Maxfield the concessions unit.
This is one of two new senior appointments at Denver: the other is that of Ken Greene as Chief Operating Officer who will lead the business unit that includes Airport Infrastructure Management, Technologies, Airport Operations, the Hotel and Transit Center and Special Projects. Kim Day said: “Over the last five years Ken Greene has become an invaluable member of the leadership team at Denver International Airport and helped implement many of our strategic objectives and innovative programs. I’m also pleased to welcome Bhavesh Patel to the executive team, where he will oversee our thriving concessions and commercial programmes as well as our efforts to develop Colorado’s own aerotropolis and help us take these programmes to the next level.”
