USA. Expressions of Interest (EOI) are due by tomorrow Friday, 14 July, on a range of commercial contracts at the British Airways-run Terminal 7 at at John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport, New York. They comprise duty free, food & beverage, news/convenience, specialty retail and/or
Foreign Currency Exchange concessions.

As first reported by our colleagues at Airport Revenue News on 3 June, BA is seeking qualified operators of leading international, national, regional, and local branded concepts for its reconfigured and redeveloped concessions programme. Competition is set to be intense in all categories as JFK T7 ranks as one of the premier US gateways with a commercially attractive passenger profile*.

Short-listed applicants will be notified on 29 July.

The process is being handled by respected US firm Unison Consulting.

T7 is operated by BA under a lease with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.  The lease was recently extended through November 2022, with one three-year renewal option, subject to negotiations between BA and the Port Authority.

As part of this lease extension, BA has committed to redevelop and modernise T7. BA’s goal is to transform T7 into a modern international terminal, offering a wide array of food and beverage, duty free, and retail choices, comfortable gate area seating, and updated amenities.
