The Blanc de la Mer Brightening Collection |
Crème de la Mer has created a new Blanc de la Mer Brightening Collection to target the specific concerns of Asian women, whose skin is delicate, thin, and more vulnerable to environmental influences that lead to discoloration, spots and uneven tone.
The three-product regimen (The Brightening Lotion Intense, The Brightening Infusion Intense and The Brightening Essence Intense) works in synergy with the original Crème de la Mer, to give skin a youthful translucence, the brand maintains. The line was launched into Asia Pacific travel retail in February, and was rolled out last month into selected doors in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
“The secret to the collection’s unprecedented brightening and hydrating action comes from the legendary Miracle Broth, in conjunction with a potent blend of proprietary ferments,” explained Senior Vice President of Product Innovation Loretta Miraglia. “Grey, red and brown “˜veils’ of discoloration appear more lifted, one by one, to reveal a crystal clear complexion.”
The Miracle Broth is complemented by a Smoothing Ferment, the VibraWhite Ferment Blend and the White Nutrient Ferment, which together help to fade the appearance of existing spots and protect skin against future discoloration.
The Brightening Lotion Intense is the first step in the Blanc de la Mer ritual. It should be gently pressed onto the skin after cleansing, and for optimal results should be used twice a day.
The Brightening Infusion Intense is described as a potent sea gel that targets the look of dark spots, and boosts the benefits of the Brightening Essence Intense. It calms, soothes and helps protect the skin from environmental stressors that can lead to the appearance of premature ageing. The sea gel is said to interact with the skin’s temperature to effectively deliver key ingredients to visibly improve the skin’s appearance instantly and over time.
The Brightening Essence Intense is a serum that delivers powerful brightening and anti-ageing benefits, according to La Mer. In particular, it helps to diminish the appearance of pores, while leaving skin clear, translucent, more lifted and firm.
