Premium spirits distributor Blue Caterpillar has signed a distribution agreement with KOI Global, owner of botanical rum brand Candela Mamajuana.
The partnership will see the premium rum brand available in global travel retail as well as in Latin America and Caribbean domestic markets.
The brand will be showcased at Blue Caterpillar’s Stand (Green Village, Stand J53) during the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes on 29 September-3 October.
Offering a distinctive blend of natural botanicals and herbs, Candela Mamajuana is inspired by the vibrant flavours and warmth of the island.
The expression is described as “a true testament” to the artistry and tradition of the Dominican rum craft.
It is the only premium rum in the market infused with Mamajuana botanicals, the partners noted.
Candela Mamajuana is made using only natural ingredients, without artificial colours or synthetic flavours. It is infused with single-origin sugar cane juice – distilled from 100% estate-grown sugar-cane juice – not molasses.
