UK. Bobbi Brown (part of the Estée Lauder Cos) is rolling out its spring novelties into the travel retail channel.
The company’s spring make-up look focuses on various shades of rose for lips and cheeks, complemented by a neutral shimmer for eyes.
New items include Pot Rouge, a dual-use cream formula for use on both lips and cheeks. It is said to blend easily and give cheeks a sheer stain of colour; blotted on lips the coverage is medium.
It is available in eight shades.
The company has also created a new version of its signature multi-use Shimmer Brick product, in shades of rose (pictured above).
It contains five pearlised colours that are claimed to flatter all skin tones, presented in a sleek, mirrored compact.
For eyes, there is a new, limited-edition Nude On Nude Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow Palette (right). This comprises four shimmery nude shades for the lower lid, a fifth matte shade for lining, and a dual-ended eye shadow/eyeliner brush.
Another limited edition is Rose Lip Gloss, said to deliver the subtlest of shimmers.
Other novelties are a foundation brush and blotting papers. The latter are powder-free tissues which absorb excess oil and perspiration. They are housed in a refillable case with mirror, which holds 100 sheets.
Bobbi Brown has also continued its mini theme (The Moodie Report.com, 6 January) with a limited-edition Mini Foundation Stick and Mini Sheer Pressed Powder.
The pocket-sized face base is available in the full range of 16 shades; the powder is presented in a compact with puff, and is available in six shades.
