Bobbi Brown Cosmetics opens free-standing Studio store in Cannes

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics continues to advance in France, with the opening of its third free-standing store: The Studio in Cannes, located at 51 Rue d’Antibes.

Described as an expression of Bobbi’s unique philosophy and aesthetic, it is said to be the perfect way for consumers to discover the brand’s range of colour cosmetics, brushes, fragrances, skincare and expert services.

When shopping in-store, customers can gather at the artistry table to exchange tips and ideas; watch a video of Bobbi’s seasonal inspirations and how-to’s; or choose from a menu of specialised services. In addition, The Studio will also offer exclusive, limited-edition products on a seasonal basis.

The brand’s clean, modern aesthetic is reflected in architectural details such as industrial steel cabinetry and Carrara marble, while an abundance of natural light (courtesy of a large window) aims to evoke the ambience of a chic Soho loft. At the heart of the space is a communal artistry table, designed to create a warm and welcoming environment for the consumer and friends to trial products at their leisure or enjoy on-the-spot make-up lessons from Make-up Artists.

A hallmark of Bobbi Brown’s free-standing stores is the high-definition video screen wall, which helps to bring the brand to life. Customers can watch clips of Brown doing make-up backstage at New York Fashion Week, learn about inspirations for seasonal collections, and discover exclusive tips and techniques direct from the brand’s founder.

Teaching is a key component of Bobbi Brown’s philosophy. Before applying any make-up, each artist takes into account a woman’s personal style, lifestyle and preferences. Bobbi’s application methods, which range from an everyday five-minute routine to a special occasion 45-minute routine, are designed to be adapted to each woman’s individual needs. Every make-up lesson concludes with the creation of a personalised face chart to help customers recreate the look at home.
