Inspired by the make-up artist’s seventh book, Pretty Powerful Beauty Stories, Bobbi Brown has created the Pretty Powerful Uber Basics collection. The line is said to offer every woman – no matter what her skin tone – the essentials she needs to go from Pretty to Pretty Powerful, day to night. It will be available in travel retail worldwide from September.

Highlighting the simplicity of Bobbi’s Uber Basic look, the collection is organised into four colour stories, each with a corresponding Eye Shadow, Sparkle Eye Shadow, Blush, Rich Lip Color and High Shimmer Lip Gloss. “[These are] our most flattering colours. Ever,” noted Brown. “It’s make-up, simplified.”
New items include the Sparkle Eye Shadow, described as a featherweight formula that instantly lights up eyes with a combination of shimmering pearls and glitter in a translucent base. There are four new shades: Bone, Cement, Taupe and Black Chocolate.
New for lips is Bobbi Brown’s Rich Lip Color, a lightweight and emollient formula that offers comfortable, long-lasting wear. The translucent base combines with a special gel system that allows for intense colour release and true colour projection, according to the brand. The new shades available are Uber Pink, Uber Beige, Uber Suede and Uber Nude Beige. The brand’s High Shimmer Lip Gloss has also been extended with a complementary Uber Suede shade.
New shades of Blush (Pretty Pink and Pink Rose) complete the Pretty Powerful Uber Basics collection.
