Bobbi Brown reinvents the art of matte |
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has unveiled a new lipstick line. Creamy Matte Lip Color began rolling out into travel retail worldwide earlier this month. The line comprises 12 shades, from nudes to brights.
“After years of blotting lips to create a matte stain, I was inspired by Fashion Week to create the ultimate matte lip that is not only long-lasting but lightweight and creamy at the same time,” explained Brown.
Described as a “revolutionary matte lipstick formula that uniquely combines the look of a classic matte lip with incredible wearability”, the new lipstick is said to offer comfortable, long-lasting, hydrating coverage.
Creamy yet lightweight, moisturising and highly pigmented, it glides comfortably onto lips, maintains the brand, and delivers an exceptionally high pigment load in a single application.
Special emollients and soft waxes form a conditioning barrier to lock in moisture, noted the company, while the formula is designed to soften slightly with the warmth of the lips, to provide full colour release. Creamy Matte Lip Color offers long-lasting wear that is claimed to not transfer, smear or feather for up to eight hours.
