Bolon and Molsion reveal new campaigns to support latest collections

Essilor Group brands Bolon Eyewear and Molsion will present their 2018 Spring/Summer sunglasses collections at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (Level 1 Booth R8).

Bolon’s range is backed by new 2018 advertising campaigns featuring Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway and supermodel Hailey Baldwin.

Romance, wavy lines and curves and the Eiffel Tower provided inspiration for Bolon’s Spring/Summer 2018 range

Hathaway has been Bolon’s brand ambassador since 2016. Her new campaign was shot in London’s Notting Hill and includes a 30 second ‘I Dare Myself’ video, with Bolon building on its ‘being who you really are’ philosophy.

Baldwin is Bolon’s second ambassador. According to the brand, the model epitomises youth and style for millions of consumers and “perfectly embodies” the ‘I Dare Myself’ campaign message.

Bolon’s latest collection, which includes designs for men, takes inspiration from jewellery, wavy lines and curves, romance and the Eiffel Tower.

‘Glamorous-chic’ Amy introduces a new oversized gold and black frame with curved temples and contours. Legend-Urbane is a special-edition aviator, made of lightweight titanium. Legend-Imperial updates the classic Bolon Aviator, with photochromic lenses and curved double bridge design, and Paloma presents rimless double lenses in geometric shapes.

Chinese model and actress Angela Yeung Wing stars in Molsion’s latest campaign

Molsion’s Spring-Summer 2018 campaign for Taiwan and China features Chinese model and actress Angela Yeung Wing, also known as Angelababy.

Following the implementation of a pop-up store, with Ever Rich Duty Free, at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport T1 last year, Molsion opened another T1 pop-up in March. The outlet highlights the 2018 Spring/Summer collection and will run until the end of June.

The 2018 Spring/Summer collection includes styles with fluid lines inspired by orbital space, a new temple with 3D logo and a double-arrow bridge inspired by cupid’s arrow.

‘Chic retro’ designs feature in Molsion’s latest Spring/Summer range

An oversized frame comes with a rimless design, in contrasting colours for a ‘chic-retro’ style, while an aviator frame is remodelled with a misaligned double-bridge and gradient coloured lenses. The collection also touches on futuristic street fashion style, using ultra-slim metal to give the illusion of a rimless frame surrounding coloured lenses.
