Malaysian fashion brand Bonia has unveiled its newly renovated boutique at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, drawing inspiration from the worlds of art and design.
Opened on 30 March, the new-look boutique is dressed in muted and complementary tones of brown and black to create “a comfortable and luxurious” environment. Dimmed lighting was used to create a soft brightness in the store, while the leather seat and plush carpet allow customers to try on Bonia’s shoes in comfort.
Shelves and furniture used in displaying the different ranges of Bonia’s latest products are enhanced with decorative items. A stand-alone shelf takes centre stage, displaying neatly organised smaller products. Exclusive items are placed in the spotlight glass cabinets to attract customers and allow them to appreciate the product’s details.
For the wall coverings, cabinets are used for both aesthetic and functional purposes. Recessed lights have been built into the cabinet to display fine leather wallets and purses, while mirrored cabinets offer an almost 360-degree view of the products.
The makeover has received “an overwhelming response” from customers since the boutique’s unveiling, Bonia said.
