Distilleria Bottega’s Il Vino dei Poeti Gold Prosecco wine |
ITALY. Distilleria Bottega will be presenting its Il Vino dei Poeti Gold Prosecco wine at the International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores-run (IAADFS) Duty Free Show of the Americas that will be held in Fort Lauderdale in March (Stand number 2110).
The Il Vino dei Poeti Gold features an ‘exceptionally aromatic bouquet’ and is made from a selection of grapes picked late on the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in Eastern Veneto, about 60 km from Venice, Italy.
In this area, the soil guarantees a high concentration of mineral salts. The exposure of the vineyards leads to a strong temperature difference between day and night, facilitating the slow maturing of the grapes. The result is a fruity bouquet that is emphasised by the sparkling of the fresh must, giving the wine a taste of golden apple, pineapple and mango.
Apart from the aesthetic impact, the gilding of the bottle serves to protect the wine against any source of light, keeping the features of the Prosecco unchanged for over 12 months.
The packaging comes with a label in a shape that is reminiscent of the foam coming up from wine which has just been uncorked.
Il Vino dei Poeti Gold is distributed in duty free shops and selected local market wine shops.
