AUSTRALIA. Lagardère AWPL has opened the Bound concept store – a bespoke travel essentials and café offering – at Brisbane Airport. It focuses on delivering high-quality local produce and supporting Queensland merchants.
Located at the Domestic Terminal, Bound is the last of Lagardère AWPL’s ten new stores to open as part of Brisbane Airport’s A$40 million Domestic Terminal upgrade. It is the first Lagardère AWPL store to open in Brisbane since the corporate merger of Lagardère Travel Retail and AWPL earlier this year.
The store celebrates Brisbane and South East Queensland providers and features new entrants to the airport market, among them local coffee roaster Bellisimo Coffee and pastry brand Jocelyn’s Provisions.
Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) Executive General Manager Commercial Martin Ryan said: “We are incredibly excited to see Bound open at our Domestic Terminal, allowing passengers to shop the latest book releases, search for the perfect gift and grab a delicious coffee and pastry all at the same time.
“It’s great to welcome another store to the Brisbane Airport family, continuing our strong, long-term relationship with Lagardère AWPL. With passenger numbers at our Domestic Terminal back to 100% of pre-Covid levels during the school holidays, you can sense an exciting energy when you’re in the terminal.”

Lagardère AWPL operates stores at both the Brisbane Domestic and International terminals, including News@BNE. Bound is located at the Qantas end of the terminal, near Gate 23.
