Issey Miyake goes urban with new Concrete Editions |
FRANCE. As previously revealed on The Moodie Report.com, Beauté Prestige International (BPI) will this spring introduce Concrete Editions of Issey Miyake’s L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme and L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Intense men’s fragrances.
As the name suggests, the bottles and tops are entirely decked in concrete, in what is described as an “unprecedented technical feat”.
The resin concrete is applied with a spray gun and baked. The bottle is then “tagged” with the fragrance name in graffiti-style lettering, to enhance the urban reinterpretation.
The colour-scheme for the Concrete Edition of L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme is grey for the bottle and box, with a blue-grey signature tag. Slate grey and orange are the tones for the Concrete Edition of L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Intense.
Both fragrances will retail at around €49 for 100ml.
