Breo to launch pop art themed watch collection in Cannes

UK lifestyle company breo will showcase its new Classic Pop Art collection for the first time at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes later this month (Stand Number: Blue Village H1).

The collection applies pop art culture to watch faces in four designs with comic-strip themes. Two of these feature a blonde Marilyn Monroe styled woman and two elements of typical comic book slogans, “˜Zap!’ and “˜Pow!’

Soft rubber straps are available in black, white, blue, lilac, purple, pink and red. The brand expects two of the models to be exclusive to travel retail with prices ranging from €25 to €30.

Commenting on the collection, breo Global Travel Retail Sales Manager Alison Fishwick said: “In a highly competitive market, keeping the offer fresh and innovative is all important. This new Pop Art collection is fun, stylish, colourful and, most of all, a little bit different from anything else on the market.”

With more than 180 listings on over 80 airlines worldwide, breo is actively building its ground shop and cruise line business. Through Ocean Trading, the company is listed with Southend, Norwich, Blackpool and Derry airports in the UK; the brand is also available through airport locations in Pakistan including Karachi and Islamabad.

Through Hudson News, breo is available at Sharjah, Basel and Puerto Rico airports. By the end of October, six army bases will be supplied with a selection of watches and sunglasses through ES-KO.

“It’s a great start for us on the ground and we’re very hopeful of building on this base at the TFWA World Exhibition,” Fishwick added.

Stand contacts in Cannes will be Alison Fishwick and Paul Widdop.
