An expanding presence in travel retail: Italian luxury travel brand Bric’s new shop-in-shop at Rome Fiumicino Airport |
ITALY. Italian luxury travel goods brand Bric’s Milano has announced the recent opening of three new airport shop-in-shops at Rome Fiumicino, Prague and Miami Airport Terminal G.
The new outlets boost Bric’s travel retail presence in Milan Malpensa Airport, where the company has two doors, and in Munich Airport.
The fast-expanding brand will be showcasing its luggage and accessories collections at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this month (Stand number: Riviera Village, RA 2).
Sportina Collection
Sportina is a range of travel-friendly handbags. Significantly redesigned this season, the distinctive feature is a pocket on the front of the bag with a centrally placed Bric’s logo.
The collection is said to embody practicality, comfort and versatility while preserving the notion of glamour, according to the company.
The handbags have an innovative handle system: the two side handles can be converted into a longer shoulder strap. A pocket inside the bag, made of the same nylon material as the handbag, can be used separately as a small shoulder bag.
Seven colours are available, along with a striped pattern. Trimmings and handles are made of Tuscan leather.

Magellano Collection
The Magellano collection is characterised by large golden zippers, small metal lock sliders and chain-patterned linings. It includes a wide range of travel and business bags and suitcases, as well as two messenger bags.
All items are made of soft and resistant leather-like material with a drummed skin texture.
Life and Life Safari Collections
The Life collection is made of PVC treated with cotton, resulting in a sueded effect, and is waterproof and stain-resistant.
Two new colours are available only for the Spring/Summer collection, with fine brown leather contrasting trimmings.
Life Safari, based on the Life concept, features the same fabric that looks and feels like suede with an embossed, crocodile-skin print.
The luggage set comes in red, black and brown with dark brown trimmings.
Items under the Life range include holdalls, trolleys, beauty cases, vanity bags, tote bags, briefcases, duffle bags and handle bags.

Pininfarina Collection
A collaboration between Bric’s and Pininfarina Extra, Pininfarina is a high-end collection designed for modern business travellers.
Pininfarina Soft is a range of travel accessories made of leather and technical nylon with nappa leather trimmings.
An assortment of soft trolleys feature four orbiting wheels, an expandable compartment to increase luggage capacity by +15% and a telescopic handle adjustable to several lengths.
New items include a shoulder bag, two messenger bags, a soft holdall, a carry-on boarding tote on wheels, a toiletry kit, a wheeled garment bag and a spacious pilot case with detachable laptop case.
Pininfarina Rigido is a rigid trolley range with distinctive structural features: a four-wheeled zip trolley featuring a leather belt, leather accents, an airtight frame and a TSA Stopper with combination lock.
The ‘polycarbonate plus’ trolleys are claimed to combine lightness and strength. The interior compartment comes with lined dividers, inside strap and a removable garment bag.
The range is completed by a vanity case and comes in four colours.
Pininfarina Accessories is a collection made of ultra-soft, premium cowhide leather. The range includes trolley, toiletry kit and pilot case, satchel bags, laptop cases, men’s bags, backpacks, document holders and an assortment of small leather accessories featuring two new wallets. Items are available in three colours.
