AUSTRALIA. Brisbane Airport’s International Terminal has welcomed Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill to its food & beverage line-up as part of its A$45 million (US$34.3 million) redevelopment.
Opened on 1 March and located on Level 4, the new outlet is the second airport location for Mad Mex in Australia and the only place at Brisbane Airport to get Mexican food. Its menu comprises fresh, customised and authentic Mexican street food staples such as tacos, slow roasted beef and pork, burritos, nachos and quesadillas.

Operated by Spotless, the new store design incorporates two previous tenancies into one large inline tenancy, including a dedicated seating area, colourful Mad Mex branding and Corona bottle chandeliers.
The addition of Mad Mex to the F&B offering at Brisbane Airport International was a result of passenger demand for additional fresh, healthy, quality fast food options at the terminal.
Brisbane Airport’s redevelopment of the International Terminal is nearing completion with 70% of the facelift now complete. The terminal now boasts ten new F&B and retail stores including Tuk Chop, Burger Urge, Boost Juice, Windmill & Co, Corretto Bar & Café, The Botanist, JR/Watch Co, JR/Duty Free, Billabong, and Merino Collection.
