Brogans Legacy achieves silver success – 23/08/07

Each bottle of Brogans Legacy is individually numbered for authenticity

IRELAND. PG Brogan & Company’s Legacy 10yo single malt Irish whiskey has won silver – best in class – at the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition).

Triple distilled and aged for 10 years in a mix of American oak bourbon barrels and Iberian oak sherry casks, each cask of Legacy is hand selected by company founder Pat Brogan and each bottle is individually numbered.

The flavour is said to marry sweet vanilla tones with a hint of spiciness with light floral sherry notes. Legacy is available in miniatures, 70cl and one-litre bottles, in tube outers.

Legacy 10yo single malt Irish whiskey was introduced to the travel retail market at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes last year and is now performing well at Dubai Duty Free, the company said.

PG Brogan owner Pat Brogan added: “Winning the IWSC award is a great achievement for Legacy, confirming the unique quality, flavour and appeal of the brand.”
