Buckley London has unveiled its latest range of poppy brooch designs, in partnership with The Royal British Legion.
Since 2010, The Poppy Collection brooches have helped to raise over £1.6 million (US$2.1 million) in funds for the charity which provides financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces.
This year’s signature design is The Poppy Collection 2017 Sparkle Brooch, which is plated in polished gold tone and handcrafted with dozens of Siam red crystals. The Jet crystal centre is encircled by 14 clear Austrian crystals and ‘Lest we forget’ is engraved on the back of the brooch.
The Poppy Collection also includes a further 20 poppy designs, including large and small poppy brooches, lapel pins, pendants and rings.
Buckley London Founder and Owner Adrian Buckley commented: “We are proud to launch The 2017 Poppy Collection designs and look forward to another fantastic year of fundraising. Buckley London has been a long-time supporter of the Legion and we are delighted to be able to help raise funds for such a worthy cause.”
The Royal British Legion Head of Corporate Partnerships Ben France said: “The Royal British Legion is extremely grateful for the support that Buckley London has shown over the years. The money raised through the poppy brooches helps us continue our vital work providing care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces past and present and their families.”
The Poppy Collection, designed by Buckley London, is available to purchase at buckleylondon.com. Selected items are also available from M&S, QVC UK, World Duty Free, P&O Cruises and Poppy Shop. Prices range from £5 to £99.
Buckley London will donate one third of the RRP from every Poppy Collection product sold to The Royal British Legion Trading Limited which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion and Poppyscotland. The donations due to each charity will be split according to population size, with Poppyscotland receiving 7% of the donation value.
