Burberry has given its Burberry Kisses digital partnership with Google (which allows users to capture and send a digital imprint of their real kiss to anyone in the world) a festive update.
The initiative now features a gold creative concept, festive ambience and limited-edition seasonal beauty products. It also features the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign couple Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge.

Burberry Kisses incorporates a subtle link to Burberry make-up. The updated experience allows users to choose one of five Burberry lip colours for their kiss – including the limited-edition Trench Kiss Lip Mist.
Other platform updates include a ‘Send to Many’ functionality enabled with autofill contact details; and “˜Save your kiss’ and “˜Tweet your kiss’ options. There is also a “˜Read message’ call to action on mobile, allowing users to skip through to their message rather than having to watch the full kiss journey.
The experience incorporates a real-time “˜World of Kisses’ map, which shows all of the world’s kisses as they fly between locations, revealing which cities are sending and catching the most kisses. In line with the season, various city skylines (including London, Paris, New York and San Francisco) are showing snowy scenes.
