UK. Roman luxury house Bvlgari partnered with Avolta at Gatwick Airport for a Chill & Sole fragrance animation from 24 May to 26 June.

The vibrant Gatwick Airport pop-up brought the beauty of the Italian coast to London with wraparound floor-to-ceiling digital screens that broadcast its rich landscapes.

The animation was designed to immerse travellers into the sights and sounds of the Mediterranean, from which Chill & Sole takes its inspirations.

The pop-up offered the complete Bvlgari Allegra and Maxi Shelley collections and invited travellers to create their own signature scents using different Bvlgari Magnifying Essences.

In addition, they were able to personalise their fragrance bottles with on-site hand painting and colourful Bvlgari Maxi Shelley scarves.

Chill & Sole Eau de Parfum is a floral citrus scent which, as noted, draws inspiration from a relaxing day by the Mediterranean Sea. It blends neroli with fresh notes of citrus and orange blossom. It is the latest addition to the Bvlgari Allegra Collection, which is described as ‘a celebration of superlative Italian emotions’.

Allegra, with its colourful merchandising, personalisation features and vibrant scents, has been one of Bvlgari’s big fragrance winners of recent years

As reported, The Moodie Davitt Report Brands Director Hannah Tan was on location in Singapore for the Asia Pacific launch of the scent.

Talking about the inspirations behind Chill & Sole, Cavallier told The Moodie Davitt Report: “The main concept for Chill & Sole is the Italian lifestyle. This is all about taking it easy, enjoying life, doing nothing and just appreciating the atmosphere and the landscape. Through this fragrance, we are translating the scents of the Mediterranean Sea and Italian nature with a touch of sophistication, which sets this scent apart.

“Italians are so vibrant, creative and full of joy. So the expression of the Allegra concept is all about colours and fragrances based on exceptional ingredients,” he added.

“There is a chorus in each perfume. For Chill & Sole, I really wanted to celebrate the Italian Mediterranean lifestyle. This story started with Riva Solare and I have continued that story with Chill & Sole.”

Bvlgari is also running similar Chill & Sole animations in the domestic markets of Paris and London at Galeries Lafayette and Harrods respectively.  ✈
