Cabeau aims for new heights with pillow range in travel retail

Travel accessories specialist Cabeau has launched a merchandising and point-of-purchase Retail Optimisation programme, with a refreshed stand for its travel pillows as its cornerstone.

“Double-digit sales increases for US$40 to US$60 travel pillows are helping drive significant individual average transaction improvement for travel retailers,” Cabeau said. The company underlined its collaboration with retailers to identify ways of accelerating product turnover and maximising store-level profits.

The new travel pillow stand offers a +38% increase in product density from a 1.07sq m footprint and will be featured at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition (Yellow Village, E39).

Global Travel Retail Sales Director Lital Guedalia noted new listings with King Power in Thailand, Brookstone in the USA and with Eurotrade at Munich Airport, and an extension of the brand’s global contract with WHSmith.

“We have witnessed tremendous retail success by partnering with key accounts to develop and drive best practices in the field,” Guedalia said.

Cabeau has refreshed the packaging on its popular Evolution S3 travel pillow to highlight its claim to eliminate neck pan and to provide “scientifically best-seated sleep”.

The Evolution S3 will be featured at the Cannes event, along with Evolution Cool travel pillows. The Cabeau portfolio also includes one-breath inflation Air Evolution pillow, Fold ’n Go Blanket, blackout Midnight Magic Sleep Mask and Bamboo Compression Socks.
