Giftable indulgence: Cadbury Luxury Selection Truffles


UK. Cadbury Schweppes International Travel Retail (CSITR) will reveal a new introduction to the Americas when it showcases the premium Cadbury Luxury Selection Truffles at the IAADFS show in Fort Lauderdale next month (Booth number: 1909).

CSITR Regional Manager, Americas, Tiho Marinac commented: “I’m really excited to be bringing this new premium product to the Americas, our research shows that it meets the desires of shoppers in this market, who have shown their enthusiasm for quality indulgence products through success of the Cadbury Luxury Selection Praline Tower Pack. This has seen strong growth annually since its launch in 2005 and we are confident the Truffles will follow suit.”

A new addition to the Cadbury Luxury Selection range, the Truffles are aimed at gift-givers and self indulgence.

CSITR’s shopper insight programme found that shoppers in the Americas were looking for premium products at a good price and the Cadbury Luxury Selection Truffles taps directly into that mindset, said Marinac.

Research across international travel retail outlets also indicated that 80% of purchases are for gifting and uncovered a high level of interest in truffles, which are perceived as indulgent, luxurious and giftable.

In blind taste tests, over 90% of respondents rated Cadbury Luxury Selection Truffles as “Very Good” to “Excellent”.

The new Cadbury Luxury Selection Truffles comprises 16 delicious Belgium truffles in four flavours:

·Hazelnut truffle dipped in creamy milk chocolate
·Truffle noir dipped in rich dark chocolate
·Vanilla flavoured truffle smothered with milk chocolate with a white chocolate finish
·Milk truffle dusted with fine cocoa powder.
