AUSTRALIA. Lagardère Travel Retail has introduced MAC Cosmetics at Cairns Airport in Queensland, the retailer’s third MAC expression in the Pacific region.
The 25sq m store caters to international and domestic passengers, boasting what Lagardère described as a “contemporary and stylish” design and layout.
The offer includes a range of make-up and skincare products, fragrances, and application tools. It also features services by make-up artists, including instant touch-up services for passengers on the go.
“MAC is the perfect addition to add to our collection of flourishing brands in Cairns Airport,” said Lagardère Travel Retail CEO for the Pacific region Matthieu Mercier. “Cairns Airport share our vision for innovative thinking, so bringing MAC to the passengers travelling through their airport brings this vision to life.”

Lagardère Travel Retail also operate MAC locations at Auckland Airport in New Zealand and Gold Coast Airport in Queensland.
