FRANCE. French house Camus is to unveil Camus Cuvée 2.105, the third product in its Masterpiece Collection by Cyril Camus, at the TFWA World Exhibition this month. The Cognac offers rare eaux-de-vie and is presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter.
The two Cognacs selected by Jean-Paul (aged 65) and Cyril Camus (40) for Camus Cuvée 2.105, were selected in February 2011.
For tradition and experience, Jean-Paul chose a Grande Champagne Cognac of 65 guaranteed minimum age, while for subtlety with contemporary flair, Cyril selected a Grande Champagne Cognac of 40 guaranteed minimum age, the company explained.
The blend of these two Cognacs in identical proportions is said to celebrate the fifth generation of the family. The product is in a limited edition of 1,228 numbered pieces.
The perfume is described as rich with candied orange essences and spice, as well as more floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine.
The rich palate is said to be offer fresh and mature flavours of hazelnut, chocolate, dried plums and cedar wood.
The final spicy notes burst with complex fruit, according to Camus.
Camus Cuvée 2.105 is presented in a case holding an exclusive Baccarat crystal decanter designed by the French artist and sculptor Serge Mansau.
