TÜRKIYE. ATU Duty Free, a subsidiary of TAV Airports and Unifree Duty Free/Gebr. Heinemann, has opened Canada Goose’s first store in Türkiye at Istanbul Airport.
The 91sq m outlet is located on the departures floor of the International Terminal. The partners hailed the “distinctive interior design” including “captivating lighting and architectural details”.
The product offer spans Canada Goose’s signature parkas, lightweight jackets, knitwear and accessories.
The move into a new market extends the brand’s reach in the channel. As reported, Canada Goose last year joined forces with Frankfurt Airport Retail (FAR) – the joint venture between Gebr. Heinemann and airport company Fraport – to open its first airport store at Frankfurt Terminal 1. This marked Canada Goose’s official debut in the channel.
