Leading airport electronics retailer Capi has launched the latest headphones from Beats by Dr Dre – the Beats Studio 2.0 – in its stores at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, well ahead of domestic markets.
Beats by Dr Dre is the flagship brand of Beats Electronics, a manufacturer of audio products and equipment co-founded by artist and producer Andre “˜Dr Dre’ Young. The company claims that its first product – Beats by Dr Dre Studio headphones – put the brand on the map, “capturing the hearts and ears of consumers and creating a demand for a premium sound experience”.
The original Beats headphones have now been redesigned and reengineered. Made of lighter materials, the new Beats Studio headphones have a more streamlined look and are said to be more comfortable to wear. The product features adaptive Noise Cancelling, RemoteTalk – a functionality allowing the wearer to take incoming calls – and comes with a 20-hour rechargeable battery.
This latest addition to the Beats range will be promoted in Capi stores at Schiphol Plaza, making the headphones available to a wider public in the Netherlands for the first time. The headphones retail at €299.00.
