USA/INTERNATIONAL. Well-known and highly respected travel retail industry figure Carolyn Mariani (right) has started a new role as Brand Partnerships Manager at cruise retail specialist Harding+.
Mariani spent over 17 years at leading Miami-based travel retailer 3Sixty Duty Free & More, from 2003 to 2020, where she was the long-time Vice President Inflight Sales & Marketing.
Key tasks included negotiating business terms with vendors and airline partners and implementation of retail catalogues; pricing and promotions policy and execution; brand strategy, corporate communications and more.
She later created her own consultancy, Pivot305 Consulting to support clients with product development, merchandising, marketing, communications and sales.
Before 3Sixty she worked in the UK, both for Estée Lauder Travel Retail and earlier with Rakhita Jayawardena at inflight concessionaire Alpha OnBoard Sales and Services. ✈
