GERMANY. Travel F&B specialist casualfood has opened three more dining outlets – Goodman & Filippo, Hermann’s and Beans & Barley – at Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

The company now manages eight concepts, including the recently opened Berlin Pub in August and Deli Berlin, at the airport.
Casualfood Head of Gastronomy Michael Schorm said: “The opening of our three new outlets is a major next step for us at Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
“We have now opened all eight different concepts there and we are pleased that casualfood, as the largest gastro operator at Berlin Brandenburg, can finally present itself there in all its strength.
“With our innovative concepts we want to inspire our guests and contribute to a good airport experience during their stay in Berlin.”
Goodman & Filippo is opening initially as a takeaway, combining American and Italian food with a table service to follow soon.
It serves breakfast dishes and burgers, such as Goodman’s 100% beef cheeseburger and spicy chicken teriyaki burger, pasta and salads.
New to the menu is a vegan spaghetti bolognese, Filippo’s vegan burger using Beyond Burger patty. Drinks include freshly squeezed juices, vegetable smoothies and wine.

Hermann’s fast food has a retro butcher store look with a contemporary gastronomy concept. The menu features sausages from the region including the Berlin currywurst, which comes with Hermann’s house fries.
There are also home-made salads, and beers on tap. For vegetarians there is a bagel with veggie schnitzel option.

Lifestyle bar Beans & Barley serves four regional beers on tap: Berliner Pilsner, Hop House 13 lager, Berliner Berg pale ale and Allgäuer Büble Edelweißbier wheat beer.
There is also the famous Berliner Weisse wheat beer available in raspberry or woodruff, a cloudy shandy and non- alcoholic beers.

For coffee lovers, one of its highlights is a Berlin cold brew with syrup including almond, caramel, toasted marshmallow and Irish cream, or oat milk and lactose-free milk options.
The eight casualfood concepts are: east side berlin; Deli Berlin (plus various Deli Berlin mobile units); Berlin Pub; Goodman & Filippo; Beans & Barley; Hermann’s; basta! and Kamps, run by Casualfood as a franchise.
