GUERNSEY/UK. Caterleisure has unveiled two newly-refurbished food & beverage locations – both named Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen – at Guernsey Airport. The company took over the contract for the units from previous incumbent SSP, and now holds a seven-year lease through to 2026.
The two Bailiwick Bar & Kitchens are positioned in airside and landside spaces at the airport, and house new kitchens and food preparation equipment.

The menu choices include breakfasts, pizzas, burgers and grab and go options. There are also vegan and vegetarian options, as well as a sweet selection including cakes, pastries and muffins. In addition, Caterleisure said it has engaged with local Guernsey suppliers to offer a wide range of branded alcoholic drinks.
Caterleisure Development Director Louise Hodgson said: “We are excited to be able to welcome a range of customers to Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen at Guernsey Airport, including not only those travelling but local residents and their families and the local business community.
“We hope that everyone enjoys the newly developed menus, improved service and delivery and we look forward to welcoming new and existing customers.”

Meanwhile, at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, Caterleisure has invested £315,000 (US$390,000) in opening a new Costa Coffee unit with a lease until 2031. Situated in the departure lounge with seating for up to 76 people, the café is serving a range of coffees, cakes, pastries, hot meals and sandwiches.
Caterleisure said it had the confidence to make the investment as Doncaster Sheffield, which already serves 1.45 million passengers annually, has recently announced a raft of new long-haul destinations, will 11 new routes confirmed since the beginning of August. The airport’s attraction has also just been boosted after being voted Best UK Airport by Which? magazine and Saga.

Caterleisure Managing Director Christine Thorpe said: “We’re excited to partner with Costa Coffee to open this new coffee shop at Doncaster Sheffield Airport. This follows on from branches that have been opened in both Cardiff and Isle of Man airports.
“We hope that customers use the coffee shop to pick up their favourite handcrafted coffee with ease whilst on the go, or as the ideal place to relax ahead of their flight.”
