Caviar House & Prunier fishes out 48-hour caviar – 16/03/06

The new Paris caviar is available in-store just 48 hours after being caught


SWITZERLAND. Caviar House & Prunier, the world’s first retailer to produce its own caviar, has broken new ground by introducing a caviar that is available within two days of being caught and processed.

The fresh Paris caviar – dubbed a “black diamond” by the Swiss company – is said to have a fine texture and delicate taste with a low salt content.

The product requires careful monitoring of the sturgeon over an eight-year period and is prepared with the help of scientists according to Russian and Iranian standards and methods.

It is available in Caviar House & Prunier boutiques worldwide, including airport stores in London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Frankfurt and Vienna. A new outlet is opening in Copenhagen Airport next month.
