SINGAPORE. Luxury Fashion, the Valiram Group’s multi-label fashion concession at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal Two, was officially opened on 18 May. A stunning fashion show featuring the brands under the Luxury Fashion fascia was the highlight of the event.

Hosting the event were Chairman JU Valiram, his wife Champa Valiram and their sons, Valiram Directors Sharan, Ashvin and Mukesh. They were joined by Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Director General Wong Woon Liong at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was attended by a large gathering of delegates to TFWA Asia Pacific, including the brand owners represented in the store.
The 8,500sq ft Luxury Fashion concept hosts a range of iconic brands showcased in individual boutiques. Brands that are new to Changi Airport include Bottega Veneta, Tod’s, Chloé (its first travel retail store worldwide), and Shanghai Tang. The Cartier store is the first in Singapore travel retail.
Sharan Valiram welcomed guests to the event. He said: “We are very pleased to be associated with the CAAS and extend a special welcome to the commercial team led by Director Peck Hoon Lim; your support is extraordinary.”

He added: “With the help of The Design Solution of the UK, our brief was to create the world’s best fashion store at an airport, and to offer the luxury demanded by fashionistas. I’d like to thank all of our brands for their support, and our team which has helped to execute the project so well.”
CAAS’ Wong said: “We congratulate Valiram on the opening of Luxury Fashion. At Changi our aim is to offer passengers variety and quality. I’m sure our passengers will welcome the many luxury brands Valiram has to offer. It certainly spells exciting shopping times ahead for them with more than 20 international luxury fashion labels being offered at Changi.”
Aside from stand-alone stores, Luxury Fashion offers a wide selection of branded accessories from Longchamp, Lacoste, Tumi, Swarovski and LeSportsac among others.

About the Valiram Group
The Valiram Group was established in 1935 and is a leading luxury goods retailer and travel retail specialist with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, and with regional offices in Singapore and Jakarta.
Brands managed by the group include Asprey in Malaysia, Coach stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and Jimmy Choo in Singapore. The company will open a Jimmy Choo store in Kuala Lumpur by the end of June in Suria KLCC. Other brands scheduled to open in Q3 include a Coach flagship store, a first stand-alone IWC boutique, Chloé, Shanghai Tang and Godiva at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
At Kuala Lumpur International Airport the retailer manages Coach, Dunhill, Godiva, Montblanc and Hermès boutiques. It has a Swiss Watch Gallery in the KLIA domestic terminal and at Penang International Airport. It will open a Swiss Watch Gallery store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Q3. Valiram also operates the Flying Emporium at the KLIA domestic terminal.
At Singapore Changi, apart from Luxury Fashion Valiram operates the Bally store in T1 and T2, plus Coach and Mercedes-Benz outlets in T2. It has also been awarded concessions for stand-alone Coach and Bvlgari store in the new T3, which opens next year.
