Champagne Lanson is set to reveal the reimagined version of its Le Rosé cuvée, Le Rosé Création, at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Blue Village, C8).

Ready to shine at Cannes: Introducing Champagne Lanson Le Rosé Création

The latest release comes on the heels of last year’s debut of the multi-vintage brut Le Black Création.

Described as light, crisp and floral, the Champagne features a subtle salmon-pink colour with fine, light bubbles and scents of raspberry, pomegranate and blood orange. On the palate, a mineral crispness is accompanied by subtle floral and fruity notes of strawberry, redcurrant and pomelo.

The expression made its exclusive travel retail debut with Lagardère-Extime in May, supported by an activation in Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1.

The Champagne will again be promoted via a high-profile campaign taking place from 24 September-21 October.

Le Rosé Création will be rolled out to all key retail partners of Lanson next year, featuring promotional activations.

This new release enhances Lanson’s portfolio, which includes Le Black Réserve and Le Rosé, both still highlighted in global travel retail.

The expressions will be featured in promotional activations at London Heathrow T2 with World Duty Free Group (Avolta) this month, followed by Hamburg Plaza Shop (Heinemann) from 1 November until the end of the year.

Champagne Lanson GTR Account Manager Albane Lussat said: “Le Rosé Création is the perfect addition to Lanson’s offer for travel retail. We have received enthusiastic feedback from the launch in Paris and expect that to continue with the global roll-out in 2025.

“We look forward to introducing Le Rosé Création to our retail partners and the media in Cannes this year – it truly is a delicious Champagne.”

Maison Lanson has a rich history in crafting rosé Champagne, with its cellar records revealing the creation of the first Rosé in 1833. The house set a benchmark by including Le Rosé as a permanent part of its portfolio in 1952.

The signature blended recipe developed by the company’s Cellar Masters over time has been enhanced since 2013 by Hervé Dantan, its current Cellar Master.

Each year Dantan adds a distinct twist to Lanson Rosé, crafting a singular blend based on careful grape selection, combined with exclusive rosé reserve wines and a delicate balance of red wines from Champagne, resulting in Le Rosé Création’s delicate salmon-pink hue.

A distinctive rosé in Lanson’s range, Le Rosé Création is the house’s finest expression of Champagne rosé and is presented in a new bottle shape with elegant curves. ✈
