SINGAPORE. Luxury house Chanel has partnered with The Shilla Duty Free and Changi Airport Group to run a vibrant Summer Club pop-up concept at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1. The pop-up runs from 23 May to 1 July and is Chanel’s first Summer Club concept to be launched in Asia Pacific.
The Summer Club takes inspiration from founder Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel’s summer getaways. It features welcome desks surrounded by palm trees and product discovery areas that resemble a summer beach club.
A Chanel trolley filled with giftboxes decorates the entrance, while arched windows and French tiles take inspiration from the beach clubs of Saint Tropez.
The animation highlights Chanel’s triple-axis portfolio of fragrance, makeup and skincare.
The prestige Les Exclusifs de Chanel, a range of scents inspired by different chapters of Gabrielle Chanel’s life, are available as a pop-up exclusive. Travellers can discover the scents via the olfactive ‘Encounter’ experience, which is available for the first time in global travel retail.
Travellers can also explore Chanel’s makeup and skincare essentials via a range of exclusive services. These include the Minute Mode Avion, L’Instant Parfum and L’Escale Relaxation.
The first is a relaxing eye contour treatment, the second is a fragrance layering experience, while the third is an indulgent hand massage.
Travellers complete their Chanel Summer Club experience by taking commemorative selfies at a photo wall, or by creating personalised postcards and sending it to their loved ones. ✈
