Chanel channels the blues with new men’s fragrance

Moody Bleu: actor Gaspard Ulliel smoulders as the face of the new Chanel fragrance

FRANCE. Chanel’s new men’s fragrance, Bleu de Chanel, is now rolling out in the travel retail channel. In particular, travellers at London Heathrow T5 are invited to World Duty Free’s “Multisensory site”, to experience a “digital journey through the complete world of Chanel’s male fragrances”.

Bleu de Chanel is the brand’s first major male fragrance since the introduction of Allure Homme Sport in 2004. It is being supported by both print and TV advertising campaigns, the latter directed by Martin Scorsese. The fragrance face is French actor Gaspard Ulliel.

Composed by Chanel’s in-house nose Jacques Polge, the Bleu de Chanel juice is described as fresh, clean and profoundly sensual.

It is available as a 50ml and 100ml edt spray, and a 100ml after shave lotion.
