UK. ChangeGroup has captured a contract to offer currency exchange services at London Luton Airport. The five-year contract will see the company – a leading provider of foreign currency and financial services – manage four currency exchange branches and 13 ATMs at the airport. The branches will be upgraded to mirror the commercial look and design of the airport.
ChangeGroup’s branches offer foreign currency exchange in more than 50 currencies, while multi-currency ATMs can dispense up to three major currencies. A range of premium services including fast travel cash, international bank transfers, and buyback cover will be offered, along with concessionaire banking to support other operators within the airport.
In addition to providing currency exchange services (which have not been available at the airport since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic), ChangeGroup has recruited 25 staff from the local area.

Having secured a foreign exchange contract recently at London Gatwick, ChangeGroup now operates in two of the four main London airports.
ChangeGroup International CEO and Co-Founder Sacha Zackariya said: “London Luton Airport has seen a great deal of investment and expansion in recent years, and we are very much looking forward to being a part of Luton’s journey as the airport continues in its efforts to upgrade and enhance the traveller experience. With the travel industry rebounding in the wake of the pandemic, ChangeGroup has a real desire to expand and deliver top-class services to customers.”
London Luton Airport Chief Commercial Officer Jonathan Rayner said: “With the demand for air travel continuing to surge, we are delighted to welcome ChangeGroup ahead of what promises to be a busy and exciting summer for the airport. We continually look to enhance the customer experience we offer and the arrival of these currency exchange facilities reinforces our commitment to providing unrivalled choice and convenience to the thousands of passengers that we welcome through our doors every day.”
