Changi Airport calls tender for key speciality concession in Terminal 1

SINGAPORE. Changi Airport Group has called a tender for its latest speciality/brand name shop concession at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1.

The airport company said: “At approximately 130sq m, the concession is situated in the bustling Departure/Transit Lounge West with various mid-price shops in close proximity.”

Concepts featuring liquor & tobacco, fragrances & cosmetics, confectionery or electronics will not be accepted. But preference will be given to concepts retailing toys, games (e.g. board games, puzzles, activity sets, multimedia games), children’s gifts and creative learning.

Changi Airport Group noted: “This is an excellent opportunity for retailers to showcase a wide range of educational and entertainment products for children and provide a family-friendly shopping experience to international travellers.”

The contract runs for three years from 11 February 2013, with no option for renewal.

Bids are due by 13 September.
