Chauntry launches parking reservation management service

UK. Car parking systems provider Chauntry has established a new division offering a range of management services to airports for their car parking online reservation business.

Managed services extend from basic rate management – including offers and promotions – through to revenue management consultancy and customer call handling. The new division will be overseen by Stephen Prati, who has joined the company from NCP.

Prati said: “I am delighted to be heading up this new division. We have successfully trialled the service with Belfast City Airport and proved there was both a demand for the service but most importantly it delivered tangible benefits to the airport.”

Belfast City Airport Business Development Manager Elli McGlimpsey confirmed the success of the trial. “Having Chauntry taken care of product set-up and rate management is so convenient. I can focus on the customer proposition without any of the hassle of implementing it; we have been able to turn around new marketing offers in a fraction of the time it took before.”

Chauntry is a global supplier of parking reservation system to airports and parking operators, with over 80 airport clients worldwide and revenues to airports of €400 million a year. The UK company also boasts big networks in Canada, the USA and Australia.
