China Duty Free Group and Qeelin extend alliance with Hong Kong Airport debut

China Duty Free Group brings Qeelin’s distinctive fusion of oriental symbolism and modernity to Hong Kong International Airport

HONG KONG, CHINA. China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and fine jeweller Qeelin have partnered to open a Qeelin boutique at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

This is the second collaboration between the two companies outside Mainland China, following the opening of a Singapore Changi Airport boutique in February.

CDFG said the alliance demonstrates the close relationship and mutual trust between the two companies, while enhancing the development of its own offshore duty-free business.

The opening, just before the key Christmas and New Year holiday period, presents HKIA passengers with an exceptional luxury shopping experience, CDFG said. This includes exclusive and limited-edition pieces.

Qeelin, renowned for producing fine jewellery with rich cultural connotations, seeks to combine oriental symbolism and modernity with expert craftsmanship. The store offers a wide range of exclusive pieces, including:

  • The HKIA-only Wulu necklace in 18k rose gold with diamonds and ruby;
  • Two CDF exclusives — the Petite Wulu necklace (below right) in 18k rose gold with diamonds and red Agate and Petite Wulu Necklace in 18k rose gold with diamonds;
  • The globally limited large Je t’aime Bo Bo necklace (below left) in 18k rose gold with diamonds, black diamonds, rubies and green garnet
