Cinnabon: Adding flavour to the travel experience at Curaçao’s new terminal |
CURAÇAO. The new Curaçao International Airport terminal, opened amid great celebrations in late July, welcomed a new tenant on 30 August.
Cinnabon, a highly-successful franchised food business, has opened in the “˜patio’ area of the airport so is accessible to travellers and all airport visitors.
“The franchise of Cinnabon at the airport will be the first one in the Dutch Antilles,” said Curaçao Airport Partners Manager Commercial Bettina Daal.
Cinnabon sells different kinds of sweet rolls such as Classic Cinnamon, Minibon, Caramel Peacanbon, Cinnabon Stix, CinnaPacks and many other flavours.
The Cinnabon franchise is established in different countries including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Panama, Malaysia, The Philippines and Venezuela.
The owner of the Curaçao operation is Rotonde Management of Aruba and the Operations Manager is Rupert Cicilia.
FOOTNOTE: In late July over 500 guests celebrated the completion of Curaçao’s new US$44 million international airport terminal at a gala dinner and party. VIP attendees included Netherlands Antilles Prime Minister Emily de Jongh-Elhage as the tiny Dutch island, 80km north of Venezuela, turned on the style for visitors.
