Clarins builds on Double Serum success with new 50ml version

Clarins will extend its portfolio with a bigger, 50ml version of its anti-ageing Double Serum. The Grande version will be available from May 2013 across all travel retail locations in Asia.

Asia was the first region to launch the reformulated Double Serum in a 30ml version in September 2012, followed by Europe, Americas and Middle East in early 2013. Since its launch in Asia, Double Serum has won over 50 beauty awards, including accolades from Marie Claire magazine.

As reported, the Double Serum [Hydric + Lipidic System] combines two anti-ageing serums in one product, presented in side-by-side vials. This dual-chamber/double-pump system is said to allow the combination of oil- and water-soluble ingredients without recourse to emulsifiers.

Powered by 27 years of plant science, the treatment is claimed to reactivate the five vital functions (hydration, nutrition, oxygenation, protection, regeneration) on which skin’s youth and beauty depend.

In a consumer test on 50 Asian women, 90% agreed that Double Serum is more effective than their regular serums. Upon first application, skin appears more radiant, said the brand owner. After just four weeks’ use, it is claimed to deliver fewer wrinkles and firmer, more even skin, with renewed radiance and less visible pores.
