Clarins Fragrance Group is poised to extend Swarovski’s debut feminine fragrance, Aura, with a new Collection Mariage (Bridal Collection). The line will be available from April in European and Middle Eastern travel retail, and will roll out to Asian doors in May.

As its name suggests, the limited-edition range focuses on the themes of weddings and light, said to be inherent sources of inspiration for the Austrian house. There are four products in the collection: a 50ml Light Eau de Toilette (€60), a 50ml Light Eau de Toilette Prestige Edition (€160), a 30ml Perfuming Hair Mist (€33) and a 1.3g Shimmering Pink Crystal Gloss Make-up Jewel (€60).
The Collection Mariage features new packaging, set with crystal. This time the metallic flacons of the original line are tinged with a subtle shade of pink, and adorned with a floral patterned lace veil.
The Light Eau de Toilette is composed around three accords, described variously as The Loving Commitment, The Promise of an Eternal Bond and Intense Love. The first features lychee, a key component of the original Aura fragrance, complemented by tea leaves. The second includes peony and lotus; the third white musk. The nose is Firmenich’s Fabrice Pellegrin.
The fragrance is also available in a Collector’s bottle, whereby the shining metal sheath is printed with a delicate lace effect and inlaid with eleven sparkling crystals.
The Crystal Gloss Make-up Jewel, in the new shade of Shimmering Pink, is enriched with micronised Swarovski crystal powder and Crystal Shine® iridescent pearls. The lip gloss is decorated with a floral motif and a 16mm crystal. The jewel nestles within a “purse” of pale pink origami.
