Athlete Oscar Pistorius will no longer feature as the face of Thierry Mugler’s A*Men masculine fragrance. He has been the face of A*Men since 2011.
The Paralympic and Olympic athlete – a double-leg amputee known as the Blade Runner – is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, a charge he denies. Pistorius has admitted shooting Steenkamp, but claims he mistook her for an intruder.

“Out of respect and compassion for the families implicated in this tragedy, Thierry Mugler Perfumes has taken the decision to withdraw all its campaigns with Oscar Pistorius,” stated the brand, which is part of the Clarins Group portfolio.
Nike and Oakley have also severed ties with Pistorius, in the wake of Steenkamp’s death.
