Rouge Prodige, the new long-lasting lipstick line from Clarins, will begin rolling out worldwide from September |
A key component is a new polymer composed of transparent molecules, similar to multi-faceted pearls, which trap colour pigments. These pearl pigments adhere to the lip surface, guaranteeing long-lasting colour and hold, according to the brand.
In addition, exceptional shine is delivered by a combination of ultra-fine, transparent plant oils. These are said to leave a light film on the lip surface, like a “top coat”, which protects colour and prolongs its hold.
Extract of laminaria, an algae, delivers nourishing benefits, leaving lips soft, supple and comfortable, Clarins maintains. A combination of ceramides and waxes also helps to protect the epidermis from dehydration, while smoothing lips.
Rouge Prodige is divided into three shade families: pinks to plums, corals to reds and beiges to browns.
The packaging is a light gold case, with a slanted top, embossed with the Clarins logo. The lid is stamped with a stylised Clarins leaf.
