Clarins updates classic Azzaro fragrance with new Night Time edition

Azzaro’s new nocturnal take on a classic men’s scent

Azzaro Parfums (Clarins Fragrance Group) has unveiled a new version of its classic Azzaro Pour Homme men’s fragrance – launched in 1978 – called Azzaro Pour Homme Night Time.

Singer Enrique Iglesias was appointed to represent the brand in 2009; he is also the face of this latest scent. It is said to retain the iconic signature of the original fragrance, updated with new, contemporary notes.

Composed by Givaudan’s Christophe Raynaud and Michel Girard, the Azzaro Pour Homme Night Time juice is a fougère-green-woody. It opens on fresh notes of bitter orange and rhubarb, building to a fougère heart accord, complemented by black pepper and nutmeg. The base blends vetiver and cedar.

The fragrance flacon is a reworked edition of the original bottle. It retains the signature shape and deep black cap, but features subtly graduated colour coded glass.

The advertising visual depicts Iglesias smouldering in a dinner jacket. The fragrance range comprises 50ml and 100ml edt sprays.
