UK. Clinique has extended its sun care portfolio with two items: a new sunscreen and a self-tanner. Both are being launched into travel retail this month.
Said to be ideal for oily skin, the Body Gel SPF15 Sunscreen (left) provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, in a lightweight, oil-free, water-resistant formula.
It delivers an immediate cooling effect to skin, according to Clinique, and is quickly absorbed.
The formula also includes anti-oxidant Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), to help prevent free radical damage; skin-soothing Sea Whip Extract; and the moisturiser Dimenthicone.
Radiant Bronze Face and Body Tinted Self-Tanner SPF15 is described as a multi-tasking product. It is said to deliver gradual and customised colour development, for a natural-looking sunless tan.
Skin benefits from an instant, bronzed glow on application, thanks to the tinted formula. And the sunscreen provides UVA and UVB protection.
In other news, Clinique is relaunching its famous Skin Supplies for Men range this month.
The relaunch will be supported with bold new packaging and a new advertising campaign.
In addition, seven new products will be introduced. These are:
– Post Shave Soother Anti-Blemish Formula
– Post Shave Soother Beard Control Formula
– Maximum Hydrator Line Minimizing Formula
– Oil Control Hydrator Pore Minimizing Formula
– M Gel Lotion
– M Protect SPF21
– Liquid Face Wash Regular & Liquid Face Wash Extra Strength
