Clinique revamps Moisture Surge with new Extended Thirst Relief formula |
UK. Clinique has extended its Moisture Surge skincare franchise with a new product, Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. It is described as an updated formula that elevates performance to extend and prolong moisture for a full 12 hours, while taking into account changes in temperature and humidity.
Skin is said to experience a new level of hydration from the very first application, with moisture continuing throughout the day or night.
The lightweight gel dramatically improves skin’s natural moisture retention ability, according to Clinique, addresses the cause and effects of skin dehydration, and penetrates deeper into the stratum corneum with a quick and faster release of prolonged moisturisation.
Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief is suitable for all skin types, and can be used as often as needed all over the face.
It can be used as a facial moisturiser twice a day; as a moisture enhancer applied over regular moisturiser; as a midday moisturiser applied over make-up; or as a five-minute facial mask.
Also new from Clinique is a mascara specifically designed for the Asian market. Lash Power Curling Mascara is said to deliver superior results for those who desire long, glamorously curled lashes.
The advanced formula easily creates significant curl on otherwise straight, shapeless lashes and offers extreme wear without smudging or flaking, according to Clinique.
The ‘crescent moon’ shaped brush applicator is specially designed for Asian eyes, to reach every lash, including the corners of the eyes where it is usually difficult to apply mascara.
The formula utilises the same thermal technology as Clinique’s Lash Power and Defining Power mascaras, so is easily removed with warm water, making it ideal for hot and humid climates.
Flexible polymers provide a smooth film layer that provides extreme wear and resistance to weather, sweat, high humidity and tears, the company maintains.
Lash Power Curling Mascara is available in shades of Black Onyx and Dark Chocolate.
